To make sure you have everything in place, keep in mind that you will have to pay a security deposit to the landlord; this is typically One months rent in advance. You will also need documents to confirm your identity, immigration status, credit history and employment status, so it’s best to get these documents ready as soon as you can! Now you’ve found where it is you’d like to live; you will need to complete paperwork to validate your ID, Immigration Status and Employment. You will then sign off your Tenancy Agreement confirming everything that is agreed between you and the landlord.
You will be required to pay a deposit prior to the tenancy starting. Make sure you ask your landlord or Property Matchmaker for the Tenancy Deposit Certificate so you have all the information you need to retrieve it, once your tenancy has ended.
